I.T. ... Or incompetence ... Or a road to another fun little dirty tale.

I''m not the most savvy person when it comes to all things electronic and digital, but sometimes I don't even need to be involved for things to go wrong. 

I do most of my writing on a little iPad mini because it's portable and convenient. It's been mostly fine with only one or two occasions that I've panicked about losing work (or actually done it) and am much better about backing stuff up these days. 

If you follow this you'll know that I've been beetling away on my new story called The Wrong Twin. Everything was going well. 

Then apparently my data provider decided that they would not longer support pre-paid broadband. They simply closed my account. And I missed the one warning email that they sent me. 

It meant that I haven't been able to access The Wrong Twin. Just when I was travelling too.  It was frustrating but I didn't let it get me down. I just started writing something else that has been bouncing around in my head for awhile. That turned out to be an onsen inspired adventure. I even did some "research" for inspiration. That turned out like this:

It's going to be a relatively quick little tale about 20,000 words probably, but hopefully you'll enjoy reading it when I release it as much as I've been enjoying writing it.

And don't worry, The Wrong Twin is back on track!

Okay, so it seems that Facebook didn't like the fact that my presence there represented my pen name rather than the real me. They've shut me down. Well, they managed to shut that page down.

In its place, I have put up an author page (for as long as it lasts). I'm not quite sure how I am going to use the page yet, but as a minimum I'll be sure to be announcing upcoming book launches and providing updates as to what I am working on. It may well be a fair bit of duplication of what goes on here, but might be a little more frequent. 

I'd love it if you'd look up my page and like it so that I can start to get some followers!

Everything ever ...

Someone recently asked me which of my books contained content that I'd never published on Literotica. I didn't actually have a ready answer because some of my books are built from old stories and some are entirely new. It did make me take another look though. I made myself a handy reference guide that tells me everything I've ever written and where to find it.

2. Dating the Wrong Twin - a guy starts dating one of two stunning twins and discovers that while her sister is sexually adventurous, he's managed to date the conservative, less adventurous twin. The fact that her liberated sister likes him as well presents him with a dilemma. (A Nikki Hall book)

Projected length: 75k words

Status: Started, currently at 50k words

3. An Onsen Adventure - a young girl finds herself accommodated with a Japanese college ski team and enters the onsen and explores some cultural exchanges. (A Nikki Hall book)

Projected Length: 5-10k words

Status: Barely started

4. The Med-tech (Working title) - This came to me while watching the film Passengers. I thought, what if that guy could put the girl back into her hyper-sleep. Imagine if he could wake whoever he wanted and tell them that they had a choice to either get intimate with him or spend their journey through space getting so old that they'll never see the destination. 5000 passengers and he has as much time as he chooses to work through different races, body types etc ... Every now and then ...

Every now and then I remember that I have this little blog sitting here and wonder if anyone ever reads it on those rare occasions that I update it. I get a few votes here and there on the surveys and things that I put up, so I guess it's not going completely un-noticed.

The last time that I updated I think I asked what I should be working on and the most popular response was Dating the Wrong Twin. 

I already had Letters to Beth well advanced, so that was the initial focus and guess what? It's ready for publishing. It's actually available for preorder at Smashwords right now! So get on over there and check it out. It's a Nikki Dark book, so I'm sure you'll find it if you search on that author name (with that pesky adult filter off of course).

Based on that last update, way back in April (Shit! I didn't realise it has been that long) here's what's going on in my writing world:

Another belated update

I'm always amazed when I come back here to update things just how long it as been since I posted. I'm really not all that reliable am I?

Anyway, I am actually continuing to write and thought that I'd give you a rundown on what's in the wind. Maybe some feedback will help focus me. 

Here's what is going on:

2. Letters to Beth - a girl relates her descent into depravity to her cousin in a series of letters (A Nikki Dark book)

Status: about 80% written (83k words)

3. An Onsen Adventure - a young girl finds herself accommodated with a Japanese college ski team and enters the onsen and explores some cultural exchanges. (A Nikki Hall book)

Status: Barely started

What? She's alive AND writing?

Yess, it's been way too long since I managed to get around to updating this, so I thought I'd take a quick moment to do exactly that. First off, I'm not dead, not that there were any rumours or anything, but well, you know, it feels like too long since I posted here. 

What have I been up to? Welll I travelled to Japan and skied with my family. That was pretty awesome. I've also been writing. 

In case you didn't happen to catch it, I published a quick story called Backfire, a quick little tale about things not quite going to plan in the office. I'll have to put a link to it here.

There are also a couple of other things in the works. 

The Family Canoe, originally published at Literotica and only ever really half finished has been completed and I am currently in the editing process. Keep an eye out for that at Smashwords with Nikki Dark. Its around about 28,000 words.

I am also well into two more tales:

Mrs Moore - Cherry plucker and Come Whore - or some other title yet to be determined. A story about the mother of an 18 year old girl who ends up servicing a number of boys from her daughter's school. (Currently at about 15,000 words)

Letters to Beth. A series of letters and journal entries that tell the tale of a girl's descent to depravity and sluttery. (Currently at about 76,000 words)

Onsen Fun - inspired by my time in Japan ... just in it's infancy.
